The Vermicompost Starter Kit will help you kick start your new worm bin right away. It reduces shock to the worms when introduced to a new environment and eliminates the standard recommended wait time of 1-2 weeks before you begin feeding as the worms are already settled in the inoculated bedding!
The Basic Vermicompost Starter Kit includes:
- 1/2 LB Red Wigglers or European Nightcrawlers
- 4 L of inoculated bedding with plentiful worm cocoons
- 650 g Coco Coir Bricks, rinsed & pH buffered, that each expands to 10-12 L of extra bedding when hydrated
- 100 g Worm Farm Maintenance Mix (pH Buffer + Grit)
- 250 ml finished worm castings
The Deluxe Vermicompost Starter Kit includes:
- 1 LB Red Wigglers or European Nightcrawlers
- 4 L of inoculated bedding with plentiful worm cocoons
- 1.3kg Coco Coir Bricks, rinsed & pH buffered, that each expands to 20-25 L of extra bedding when hydrated
- 250 g Worm Farm Maintenance Mix (pH Buffer + Grit)
- 250 ml finished worm castings
